BIO _ Gambian griot Jabel Kanuteh and Italian percussionist Marco Zanotti have been playing and recording together as a duo
since 2019, releasing their debut album in 2020 titled “Freedom of movement”.
Starting from the wake of the mandengue tradition, of which the Kanuteh family is ambassador, the duo moves towards a more universal music with a free and fresh attitude.
